Independent fansite
pokemonoriginheartgold.com is an independent fan resource. It is not an official website of Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures, The Pokemon Company, the Chinese Origin HeartGold developers or the English translation team.
Pokemon names, characters, game artwork and other related material belong to their respective owners. Origin HeartGold and its translation retain their creators’ rights. Attribution and applicable notices are listed on Credits & sources.
Official patch link
This site links directly to the English translation team’s RC8 patch on GitHub. It does not host a patch or complete game ROM. You need a compatible HeartGold (USA) file from a copy you are entitled to use. No original or pre-patched ROM is offered here.
Reference limitations
Game data, descriptions, author notes and specific emulator tests provide different kinds of evidence. A configured event may not be reachable; a reference record may not be obtainable. Conditions, unknown values and known discrepancies are retained beside the relevant information.
The content describes Chinese v4.0.3 with English RC7 and RC8 corrections. Other patches and later versions may behave differently. Keep backups of your normal game saves before updates and important choices.
